The goal of Lake Stevens Elementary School is to provide the best possible education for all students. The school’s philosophy is that by setting high standards, the mastery of subject matter is the only acceptable goal. This goal can only be accomplished through a cooperative effort between home and school.
Students are more successful in school when the important adults in their lives are working together to support the efforts of the child. A concerted effort is made by the staff at Lake Stevens Elementary to keep parents informed of the skills, topics, and activities being pursued and the success each child has achieving them.
A monthly calendar will be distributed each month to keep you abreast of upcoming events.
Since parents are the first teachers of children, your participation in your child’s education can result in a love and enthusiasm for learning. You are an essential piece and we are looking forward to working with you this school year.
